COVID UPDATE WE 10-10-2021

 

COVID 19 update 44,306,983 total cases, 713,325 deaths. New cases 679,564 a decrease of 76,499 from last week. Deaths 12,278, down 893 from last week. Mortalities were 1733/ day, a decrease of 140 per day from last week. The average death toll per day for the last 648 days is 1,100. And increase of 7 from last week.

Worldwide Ranking mortalities/population, Peru (not sure about their numbers ?) Peru .6141%, Bosnia .3222% Brazil .3291%, Columbia .2868%. Mexico .2249%, Italy .2178%, US .2162%, England .2066% Spain .1857%, France .1762% and Sweden .1447%. Top countries in mortalities, US 713K, Brazil 608K, India 450k and Mexico 281K.Top mortality countries last week, US 12,278, Russia 6,330, Brazil 6,106 Mexico 3,018, India 1,772, Iran 1,772. Six states, NY, NY CT, CA, MA, WA.  account for 23.310% of cases and 27% of mortalities. TX and FL respectively 17% and 17%. FL has the highest infection rate/population 17%.  TX, 14%, NJ, NY 13%, MA, CA. 12% and CN 11%. Of the big four, new cases reported, NY 34,829, CA 42,526, TX 53,119 and FL 28,819. They account for 28% of the new cases reported. Survival rate is 98.39% of those infected. The good news, cases a dropping dramatically with the fib four.

          Worldwide, the US accounts for 20.189% of cases and 15.685% of mortalities. Is there a surge going on? Appears the numbers are started to level out. States that reported more than 100 deaths were 34. Top four TX. 1,783 FL 1,389, GE 844 and CA 751.  

          Vaccination rates 35.45% world wide. United States 56.6% The number for the US is a far cry from the statement Psaki stated that 80% of the US is vaccinated. I guess her team can’t look up simple stats!

          All of these numbers are generated from information obtained from the CDC and John Hopkins.

          Remember when everyone wanted to blame Trump for the deaths and cases even though he took action to quell the outbreak. Remember the meme’s of all those voters with gravestones? Well, let’s look at the number since Biden took over. Cases 26,957,001 or 39%. Death 251,288 or 35%. Don’t hear the media hammering on these numbers, they only want to shame those who haven’t gotten the shot.

          And if only 56.6% of the US has taken the shot, why are stadiums full for college football games and yet the numbers are dropping across the country? There was no vaccine during the 1919-1920 pandemic and slowly but surely the numbers began falling off. Are we seeing the same results from one hundred years ago or is the vaccine working? It will take time for this to be determined but if politics keeps dictating how the virus is attacked, we will never know the truth.
