Word of the day

Word of the day. I entered into a spirited debate this morning with a colleague who swears, the word I used in our enticing debate did not exist. The word is caddywhompus. I doubt any my faithful followers across the pond will be familiar with the saying, but when used in the correct context, it sums up an odd situation to the tee. For my writer friends who are always looking for that one obscure word that eludes them when describing something out-of-kilter, this is the perfect one.
