A little over a year ago, I was talking to my daughter about Mom. "Savanna, she doesn't have much time. If you want to see her one more time, I'll watch the girls. I think you need to make this trip on your own." She didn't hesitate and accepted the offer. She drove to Tulsa and spent the weekend with her grandma with no interference or distractions. She and mom had a wonderful visit. Sadly, it was their last. She was sad knowing the clock was ticking down, but she was very proud of herself (as was I) for making the trip. She grew up a lot that weekend.
