What is this peaceful inauguration costing the American taxpayers?

Let’s put this in perspective. According to a USA Today article, Trump’s golf outing has cost approximately 141 million dollars over four years.

Let’s take a look at the security measures in place:

This is a minimum number based on available information. It is difficult to calculate the cost of the equipment/vehicles that have been deployed along with fuel costs. Also, the numbers do not take into account the support and logistic staffs for each of these organizations. A fair guess would be to double the labor.  Cumulative numbers are based on seven days. Imagine if this much effort would have been applied during the riots this summer. How much property damage and lives would have been saved? I doubt any of the news organizations will even discuss this topic. Why? Why should they? They would actually have to perform some in-depth research. It is a historic day in America. The most expensive inauguration to date!

Let’s add in that Mayor Wheeler finally figured out that ANTIFA isn’t a peaceful organization. Will he and Governor Brown and others hesitate to call out the NG if the unrest continues now that Trump is gone?
