COVID 19 update 29,808,744 total cases, 541,493 deaths. New cases, 385,115, a decrease of, 11 % 7,589 deaths last week an decrease of, 2,345, 14 %. Deaths per day, 1,542 since WE 4-19. Down 10 per day from last week. Deaths/day WE 3-21 1,071. A decrease of 356/day. Six states still account for 25.306% of cases and 30% of deaths: NY, NJ, CT, CA, MA, WA. TX and FL 4,756,951 16% of cases and 80,174 deaths, 15%. It is the 4th leading cause of death in the US. Death rate versus known cases, US infection rate, 2.285%, mortality rate, .1641%. States with the biggest increase over 10% from previous week: Zero. US accounts for 24.287% of known cases and 19.992% of mortalities, worldwide. Comparison to other countries mortalities to population: England .1892% Bosnia .1749%, Italy .1737%, US .1641% Bosnia .1584%, Spain .1522% Mexico .1580%, Spain .1560%, Peru .1535%, France .1404%, Brazil .1397%, Sweden .1288%, Columbia .1230%. Of the developed countries, Australia is holding steady with no new mortalities reported at 908. They’ve lost one person since WE-11-29-2020. These numbers come from the CDC and John Hopkins.
US recovery rate of those testing positive is 98.18%.

More good news, new cases saw a decrease of 11% increase from last week, 130,547. Mortalities decreased 356 per day from 44,690 last week.
The numbers are definitely headed in the right direction. Let’s hope they continue in their downward trend. We can all use some good news!
I’ve stated many times why I track these numbers. For the person who is too thick to figure it out, don’t like what I post, do us all a favor and seek life elsewhere. Your childish, uniformed comments add nothing to the discussion. Perhaps you think you’re being funny? If we were in elementary school, your juvenile comments might entertain your small audience. If that is the attention you strive for, then seek out those with like interests. It isn’t here. Okay, enough of that.
The MSM, what little I can stomach of it, is jumping on the band wagon again about cases exploding around the country. We have seen spikes in states since March of 2020: Seattle first, then NY, NJ, MA, FL, TX, CA, AZ, It was a moving target and still is. In 1918-19, Dallas, TX. missed the first wave then got hammered for two weeks in the second wave. It is what a virus does. The MSM did their best to spread fear during Trump’s administration and know they are trying to zero in on the Red States that lifted mandates and allowed business owners and people to make their own choices. That is what Shelly Luther was fighting for back in the summer. She took all the necessary protocols to keep her employees and customers safe but that wasn’t good enough for Judge Jenkins. She was fighting for her basic rights of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” as outlined in our Declaration of Independence. Again, that wasn’t good enough and she was arrested. Talk about over reach, but then we’ve seen a massive over reach of government’s self-proclaimed authorities over the last year haven’t we and the elite of the MSM have put their full weight behind the hysteria. Why?
