Comparison to other countries mortalities to population: England .1841%, Italy .1618%, Bosnia .1536%, US .1551%  Mexico, .1480%, Spain .1479%, Peru .1424%, France .1307% Sweden .1245%, Columbia .1185%..           US recovery rate of those testing positive is 98.21%.

There is some good news, to a degree: TX had only an increase of 1% new cases per week, CA, FL level and NY dropped 1%.

The bad news, new cases saw an increase of 32% increase from last week, 130,547. Mortalities increased 167 per day from last week.

Joe, you’ve had a month now and signed thirteen EO’s to combat the virus. One would think they would have taken effect by now since you said on Oct. 23red and NOV 9th, you had the cure all to fight it. Is the MSM holding his feet to the fire? Nope. All you hear are more empty promises or, “it will take time.” When the bomb went off in NY, the MSM immediately did what they did best and blamed Trump. Where is the blame game now?

Deaths per day, 1,539 since WE 4-19. Up 8 per day from last week. Deaths/day WE 2-21, 1,894. A decrease of 1,065/day. Six states still account for 28.164% of cases and 35% of deaths: NY, NJ, CT, CA, MA, WA. TX and FL 4,457,522 18% of cases and 72,014 deaths, 17%. It is the 4th leading cause of death in the US. Death rate versus known cases, US infection rate, 2.1378%, mortality rate, .1265%. States with the biggest increase over 10% from previous week: Zero! US accounts for 25.283% of known cases and 20,208% of mortalities, worldwide. Comparison to other countries mortalities to population: England .1806%, Italy .1585%, Bosnia .1508%, Mexico, .1436%, Spain .1436%, Peru .1375%, France .1274% US .1265%  Sweden .1228% , Columbia .1166%.. Of the developed countries, Australia is holding steady with no new mortalities reported at 908. They’ve lost one person since WE-11-29-2020. These numbers come from the CDC and John Hopkins.

US recovery rate of those testing positive is 98.34%.

There is some good news, to a degree: TX had a drop of 2% new cases per week, CA, FL, 1% and NY stayed level.

It doesn’t stop there. Mortalities per week had a precipitous drop of 1065 per day from last week. This drops the US to 8th in the world of mortalities vs population.

The potential bad news, new case saw a 100%** increase from last week, 2015,116 versus 440,414 We 2-14-2021.Looking at the last three weeks, this is out of the margin. Perhaps reporting was slow. We see a steady decline from WE 1-1 then a dramatic drop last week to a ridiculous spike this week. Doesn’t look right. Let’s see how the next two to three weeks pan out.

** Correction: Cases dropped 210,851 last week 38% drop.

Remembering Debbie on Valentine's Day.

Remembering Debbie on Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day. A Happy day for many couples as it should be. I was only able to spent one Valentine's Day with Debbie. I would have enjoyed more, but I was over joyed with the time we did share. When I sat down and wrote our memoir, I wondered why I couldn't shake her memories all those years. I answered that question, in what I think, is the best chapter describing our love. "Please Leave the Light On."

                                     Chapter 14
                    "Please, Leave the Light On."

Yes, my love for her grew stronger with each passing day. But there was a day that could have changed everything. We’d been dating about two months when the urge to sleep with each other was just too much to bear. Would it be like it was in high school, would it be awkward, would we remember what to do, but something that hadn't crossed my mind - how would she feel about herself?
I knew she'd had a mastectomy in May of 2008. I knew in my heart it didn't matter what her chest would look like without the right breast. I guess to men, it’s just an appendage or something to play with, but for a woman, it’s a whole different ballgame.
Debbie and I talked about it occasionally but never in real depth. I always told her it didn't matter; I loved her just the way she was. Yet I remember seeing the apprehension in her eyes and the thoughts of disbelief. Losing a breast in her eyes was, in a way, losing a part of her womanhood. She’d nursed her children with them. She’d provided her body with pleasure from them and now she only had one. I guess it might be like a man losing the loss of an arm or a leg, but I'm not sure that’s a fair comparison.
We walked up the stairs hand in hand. She had that wonderful girlish smile on her face, kind of like when we were in high school and my parents were out for the evening. We entered her bedroom and immediately fell on the bed with arms wrapped around each other, kissing long and hard. The anticipation of making love to her again was boiling up deep inside of me. I’m thinking of the pleasures we’re both going to share. Our lips are locked hard against each other. Breathing was difficult but not necessary. I ran my hand over her smooth warm chest. She cooed at my touch. I could feel her body trembling from my touch, but there was something a little amiss. I could also feel hesitancy in her movements. She wanted to start undressing but wasn't ready. Our lips parted, I looked into her deep brown eyes, and asked if something was wrong. She partly smiled and said, “No, everything's fine.” Her answer told me different.
I raised myself off her and sat on the edge of the bed. “Debbie, I love you the way you are. Your physical appearance is not who you are, okay?” She said not a word. The thought of what she might think, and my reaction of seeing her bare naked chest minus one breast hit me like a ton of bricks. I got up and walked toward the light switch. “Debbie, would you like for me to turn the light off?”
She looked at me, her brown eyes starting to fill with tears, “No Jeff, please, leave the light on.” I stood by the switch gazing into her eyes. It wasn't necessary for us to make love for me to love her. The only thing I wanted was to be around her and love her.
She lowered her head and slowly removed her robe, letting it slide onto the bedspread. I walked towards the bed not taking my eyes off her face. This was a monumental moment for her and for me. I saw the thoughts in her eyes as I walked closer to her.
Could he love a woman with only one breast? Would he be disgusted or repulsed from the ugly scar that stretches across my chest?
I sat down on the bed and placed my right hand on her leg. She raised her head up, a small tear sliding down her cheek, and looked for a sign in my facial expressions. What is he thinking?
No words were needed. I wiped away the tear, kissed her lips, and said, “Debbie, I love you and always have.” I looked down at the scar, took a finger and gently moved it over the incision. I could feel her body trembling. Is he accepting my physical appearance or is he just being nice hoping to get laid? I told her again, “Debbie, I love you.” Applying another kiss, I lowered my head and kissed the area where her right breast had been. She momentarily shuddered; I felt wet drops falling on my neck. I kissed and sucked the right part of her chest in an attempt to let her know it didn't matter. I truly loved her. I felt both of her hands move onto my head and pull me hard against her in an effort to make sure I wasn't pulling away. I wasn't. I was in the arms of the woman I’d pursued for over thirty years and the loss of a breast wasn't changing my mind, not today or tomorrow. Nothing would keep us apart again.
After a minute or so, her grip loosened, and I raised my head, looking straight into her eyes. I placed my left hand on her chest and said it again, “Debbie, I love you.” This time she smiled. It started slowly at the corner of her face and grew until all of her teeth were showing.
She still had a few tears falling down her cheeks, but this time she spoke, “Jeff, I was so worried what you would think, that I am only half a woman and not the girl you remember from high school. I would understand if you were repulsed by the scar. I just didn't know what you would think.” She took a quick breath and continued, “Jeff, I now know that when you say you love me, you really mean it, and now I can tell you the same without any reservations. Jeff, I love you, too, and have missed being in your arms.”
We kissed each other as only true lovers do. No reservations, no second thoughts, no hidden agendas, only deep, passionate, probing kisses.
The storm passed. Her reservations were put to ease. I didn't ignore the fact she was minus a breast but concentrated on the most important issue at hand: loving Debbie for who she was and not for what she’d lost.

Pick up a copy today! Love's True Second Chance

What direction is the United States taking? Two perspectives. Draw your own conclusions.

In order to give this article perspective, I copied a post so you can draw you own conclusions. The first part is a liberal’s analysis. The second is mine.

Here's an interesting thought experiment. Think of a hypothetical country where the President who was up for reelection systematically called the electoral system into question before the election (even though his party was in power), then lost the election, then stepped up the rhetoric about a "stolen" election, called his supporters to the capitol to stage a protest, encouraged them to fight to reclaim "their" country, and then when that group of supporters stormed the location where the election was being certified neglected to call out appropriate law enforcement to quell the mob, and after the protest was quelled he told the mob he loved them, but go home. Now, imagine that country is Russia, or Venezuela. Would ANY Republican in the USA say that was ok?? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure 95% of Americans would see that as the strong arm tactics of a dictator. So is that OK in the US?? Let me help you with the answer. NO. NOT EVER.

Imagine a country where a man decides to run for president and from day one, the media hates him. They spend day after day, attacking him and his family for any and every infraction they can fabricate. Imagine running against a two-party system that deems you a threat to their entrenched power, positions and wealth. Imagine that man knocking off opponents one after the other who are quote, “professional politicians” and have no clue on how to stop his momentum. Imagine that man winning the presidency despite the massive uphill climb the entire way and then keeping his promises: America first, good trade deals, strong military, booming economy, securing borders, actually enforcing immigration laws, removing strangling regulations and keeping the environment first and foremost. Image recording the lowest unemployment numbers for all races across the board to the point, there were more jobs than people to fill them. And yet, the media and elected officials spend their days trying to bring him down at every turn. The accomplishments mean nothing to them for their power structure is at stake and they feel threatened. Then imagine a day when racial tensions explode across the country and those who were voted in to keep their constituents safe turned a blind eye in the name of politics and power and did nothing to stop it. In fact, many encouraged the behavior just as they did eighty-three years ago. Instead of going after a race, they went after one man and his supporters. They deemed them, along with the media, enemies of the state and they were responsible for all the ills in the country and their own short comings. Back then they called it Kristallnacht, today it’s hidden in the disguise of BLM/ANTIFA aka, racial justice. While the names are different, the tactics are the same: burn, riot, loot, attack kill and injure those they deem different, all in the name of peace and the cloak of unity and justice. All the while the media and politicians not only support it but encourage it on a day-to-day basis. But for whom?

Imagine this happening in the bastion of democracy. Imagine a country where the media has become a tool for a political party. Think Pravda, Der Zeitung, Beijing Daily and others. Imagine a country where free speech is being suppressed because a percentage of the populace doesn’t agree with it and continues to condemn those with a difference of opinion. Countries that ascribed to those theories created, the killing fields, concentration camps and gulags, all for the greater good of the state. They became masters at turning neighbor against neighbor and even children turning against parents and siblings, all in the name of the state.

Imagine a country, that despite its faults, strives to improve and grow, acknowledging its shortcomings and failings yet moving forward by learning from the past for a better future. Now imagine a sect doing its best to eliminate its past by apologizing for being the beacon of democracy and all it has achieved in a short two hundred and forty-five years. Now imagine the words “of the people, by the people and for the people” being eliminated and you begin to understand what is going on in the Beltway. History has proven that those in power whether it was Greece, Turkey, Rome, Germany, Czarist Russia, USSR, North Korea or Red China will not go down without a fight or convince themselves that since they are the ruling class no one would dare challenge their power and authority for after all, they are the ruling class, in their own minds, and are convinced they know what’s best for their subjects. And for those who aren’t convinced, they use the army to drive their point home and protect themselves from their own populace.  If you can imagine any of the above, then you can see those events are happening here.
