COVID 19 UPDATE WE 8-1-2021

 

COVID 19 update 35,016,505 total cases, 612,919 deaths. New cases 731,145, an increase of 644,190 from last week. Deaths 3,079, up 1,331 from last week. Amount of new cases reported has held steady at 1.79% for the last ten weeks. Mortalities were 433/ day, an increase of 194 per day last week. Overall, the number has dropped to 1,060/day.

Worldwide Ranking mortalities/population, Bosnia .2935%, Brazil .2656%, Columbia .2398%. Italy .2125%, Peru .2045%, (???-problem with numbers) England .1945%, Mexico .1924%, US .1857%, Spain .1744%, France .1702% and Sweden .1423%. Top countries in mortalities, US 612K, Brazil 556K, India 419k and Mexico 240K.  Six states, NY, NY CT, CA, MA, WA.  account for 25.4046% of cases and 29% of mortalities. TX and FL respectively 16% and 15%. NJ and FL have the most cases/population at 12%. TX and NY 11%. Of the big four, new cases reported, NY 18,977, CA 148,152, TX 74,181 and FL 138,238. They account for 65% of the new cases reported.

          Worldwide, the US accounts for 17.775% of cases and 14,580% of mortalities. Is there a surge going on?  Yes. States that reported more than 100 deaths last week: FL 513, TX 332, CA 243, MO 131, NV 115 LA 110, AZ 109, and AR 105.

          All of these numbers are generated from information obtained from the CDC and John Hopkins.

          There is a debate running rampant about getting the shot or not getting the shot and how the uncontrolled migration on the Southern border could be affecting these numbers. The Southern border has been nothing but a sieve since the new administration took over. That is a fact. Why aren’t the two border states in the news? I find it amusing how those on the left aren’t concerned with infected illegals not only coming across the border but then being shipped across the country. That makes absolutely no sense and the argument that if all US citizens would take the shot it would be eradicated is also nonsense when you keep feeding the beast. Brazil and Mexico are 2^nd and 4^th in deaths worldwide. Brazil is only 56K deaths behind us. What does that tell you? The border should be closed and no matter how many people get vaccinated the virus isn’t going away if we keep importing it!
